  • Oyster Repurposing - Volunteers Needed

    Join us for a few hours of volunteering to help us save the Lagoon! Thousands of oyster mats were donated to the County, but we need to repurpose them to make oyster bags. We cannot do it without your help!

  • Coastal Cleanup - South Beach Park

    The THIRD CCinc coastal cleanup of the year will be Saturday August 17th! We will be meeting at South Beach Park in Vero Beach under the pavilion by the beach access. Please, come join us for an hour of helping protect our coastal communities and collect real-time data to help us better understand how much debris is in our waterways. Supplies available for everyone thanks to Keep Indian River Beautiful.

    We will be hosting a total of 5 cleanups this year. If you would like to request a special clean up or your organization, please contact info@coastal-connections.org

Join us for a fun-filled day of education and deliciously prepared Lionfish dishes, or take part in the Tournament to help eradicate these invasive predators.

 

Oyster Recycling

We have received funds for our shuck n share program. We will be rolling out this program at two local restaurants in the fall including the Green Marlin and Riomar Country Club.
